(Emerging Technology & Cybersecurity Policy)

 

The Cyber Institute is seeking passionate and knowledgeable contributors to write articles, conduct analysis, and provide insights on emerging technology and cybersecurity policy. This is a volunteer (unpaid) position, ideal for professionals, researchers, and students looking to build their expertise, expand their professional network, and contribute to meaningful discussions shaping the future of cybersecurity and emerging technologies.

We are looking for 3-4 Contributors.

 

About the Role

As a Contributor, you will have the opportunity to:

• Research and write articles on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data privacy, national security, and other emerging technology policy topics.

• Analyze trends and policies from around the world, providing expert insights for decision-makers and the public.

• Collaborate with a global network of professionals and thought leaders in cybersecurity and emerging technology.

• Have your work published on the Cyber Institute website, social media channels, and potential partner platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Write one to two high-quality articles per month (or more, if desired).

• Conduct thorough research on relevant cybersecurity and technology policy topics.

• Engage in discussions, share insights, and contribute to Cyber Institute’s mission.

• Optionally participate in webinars, panel discussions, and research initiatives.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, emerging technologies, or related policy fields.

• Excellent writing and research skills.

• Ability to present complex topics in an engaging and accessible manner.

• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.

• Previous writing experience (articles, blogs, reports) is a plus but not required.

• Students, professionals, researchers, and subject matter experts are all encouraged to apply.
